爱德华·阿斯纳（Edward Asner），1929年11月15日出生于密苏里州堪萨斯城，美国演员，美国影视演员工会前主席。代表作有《玛丽·泰勒·穆尔秀》、《卢·格兰特》和《飞屋环游记》。

早年经历

爱德华·阿斯纳，生于堪萨斯城，曾在芝加哥大学读书，学生时代即醉心戏剧演出。曾服役于美国陆军，去法国两年。

演艺经历

回芝加哥后加入剧作家剧团俱乐部，在百老汇首次演出的舞台剧是《一个英雄的脸孔》。五十年代起活跃于电视界，1977年由于电视片《根》中的优秀演技，获得艾美奖。

爱德华·阿斯纳六十年代初才进入电影界，1981年初，被认为政治上属于自由派的爱德华·阿斯纳在竞选演员七荤八素领导的斗争中，击败被认为政治上属于保守派的查尔顿·赫斯顿，随之引起了一场相当长时期的电影界的政治斗争。1982年2月，爱德华·阿斯纳把他私人募捐的二万五千美元，作为医药费赠于萨尔瓦多难民，从而受到国务院的传记。接着，由他担任主要角色、收视率很高的电视系列片《卢·格兰特》为哥伦比亚电视公司停播。1982年冬，好莱坞银幕演员工会重新改选，但爱德华·阿斯纳仍然以最高票数当选为主席。
